There's an applet that I added to my bookmarks bar that is called "Kindle It" and it converts any webpage to a kindle file (I think it works for other ebook formats as well). It works fairly well for ff.net (which is what I used to use it for) and I imagine it would work well for fic on LJ/dreamwidth. You should check it out!
