I think the producers are cleverly trying to keep anyone from noticing how tepid the show is by using casting stunts. Granted, I approve of the stunts, but I would rather see them focus on better stories.

Well, yes. There's a very good reason I haven't cared enough to bother to catch up. I do hope that if it does make to to another season they manage to figure it out...
