Spotty service over here
Sep. 20th, 2011 00:16I have made the brilliant decision of taking physics and math in the same semester. Back-to-back. After my decently difficult business class. Brilliant, me! Well done! At least my math professor is adorable and an action fim geek. Who is also incredibly patient with us math-deficient folk.
I'm also trying to work on the little things, like healthy food and exercise, that tend to fall by the wayside in favor of dealing with other things. I've joined a gym. I took my highlighter to the class schedule. Any quick and easy recipes that are also healthy would be super-appreciated.
The point is that I won't be around as often as I want to be in the next few weeks while I sort myself out. I'm behind on my flist and writing and Pottermore and everything. I have, on the other hand, managed to find a gym buddy. I just might not be here as often as I would like.

iceshade. It was about fic, but it was in pirate-speak. OH RIGHT. That was today!
In twenty minutes I dug out every piece of clothing that was even vaguely pirate-themed, and showed up on campus and wished my minor department a happy International Talk Like a Pirate Day. In business class I answered "avast!" to attendance. At the end of the class, the professor warned me about avoiding planks for the day. :D
BUT THEN. MY COMPUTER HAD A HEART ATTACK. NO, SERIOUSLY. IT'S NOT LIKE I WAS USING IT FOR ANYTHING, RIGHT?
*twitch*
Everything seems ok now, but only because I basically begged the Applecare guy into helping me over the phone. I have backed up on Time Machine four times tonight. And I'm trying to be very, very careful. *pets Miles*
So...today. Good and geeky, horrifying and scary. In between I managed to measure the velocity of a falling object with 72% inaccuracy. But I did get to drop objects. :)
