So, have you promos for this new show Resurrection? Dead people start mysteriously coming back to life and angst about it?

I saw a promo and all I could think was "I'm totally sure I've seen this plot done really well before. Why are they making another?"

And then I realized that I was just thinking about nancybrown's Straysverse. OOPS.

...Now I'm disappointed it's not a real TV show. I would be ALL OVER a television adaptation of the Most Depressing British Roadtrip Ever. The feels, man.

I tried to watch it as it is a remake of the French show Les Revanants... (shown in the UK with subtitles) - sadly I didn't last beyond ten minutes... it just didn't have the atmosphere of the original ... my recommendation would be to find Les Revenants (The Returned)...

Oh, I'm probably never going to see it, unless it grows a nice fandom group of something. It was just hilarious to me when I realized I was finding it seriously wanting in comparison to one of my favorite fic 'verses. :D

I'll see if I have a chance to check out Les Revanants, though, thanks!
