Guys, I finished a fic!

About 23 hours, ago, actually. And I wish it wasn't so exciting that I did, but I've been in a funk all August, so getting a story out of my head that has an ending and a point is unfortunately a big deal. Sure, it's a little sappy in the ending and the plot is contrived and I'm not really good enough to pull that off well, but it's done, unlike the fic I started last week.

It's off to beta now, and I'm still tinkering with wording and I'm hoping to channel the mojo into my stalled BigBang (xrai_namere, YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT) after I finish the ridiculous 3,000+ word meta about Jack and timelines that has stolen my BRAIN.

I don't know why I'm writing the meta. Only one of you liked the last episode of Torchwood. BUT I DON'T HAVE A BRAIN SO IT'S NOT MY FAULT. Maybe I'll send it to Espenson. Maybe she'll even read it.

OMG, GUYS. I WROTE FIC. IT'S ALL COMPLETE. IANTO IS IN IT, SO PEOPLE MIGHT EVEN READ IT.

I should probably have posted them on some sort of community, like torch_wood or something. Should I do that now, or is it just too late?

Also, Kai Owen has crushed my secret fantasy that he would show up at D*Con with Gareth so I can stalk them together for a weekend. I suppose sports can be an acceptable excuse. Someone want to go to this and tell me all about it? Or...explain the rules of rugby?
