Nov. 27th, 2012 11:49So, I gave myself a brief break today to stop from going crazypants and as fandom is slowly grinding to a screeching halt on livejournal, I started poking around some of my old bookmarks.
Does anyone remember Ctrl+Alt+Del? It's a video game webcomic that I followed briefly for a few years on the mid-aughts. I wasn't a video game person, but it was funny and aesthetically colored and I had more free time than I needed. I drifted away sometime after the whole big to-do and I never really wandered back. I wasn't particularly upset or anything, I had just moved on.
So I went back to see how it was doing. The writer was one of those webcomic people who had quit his day job to work on his comic, so I figured it was good for years.
And...it ended? THIS WEEK?
*blink*
Well timed, self.
(I forgot how surreal it is to watch webcomic art develop over time. The art is now totally different from when I left.)
