This was wonderful. I liked how you built up the story, leading up to the reveal of the villain and he was connected to Lian's death. I really liked your characterisation of Lian (alive, yay!) and how she was determined to be a superhero and how she took inspiration from her extended family. Like cracking jokes like Dick (dead *sniff*). I also liked the cast of characters around Lian, and their own little stories. I was grinning over Steph and Cass being partners in Chicago together, though I feel sorry for Damian left in Gotham. But now he has a team! :D Now I wish this was canon.
