eldabeI do not follow Critical Role, I probably won't ever follow Critical Role, it's a fandom that requires a LOT of investment and to be veryyyyy honest, I get bored playing D&D, the odds are just really bad that I'm ever going to be able to sustain interest long enough to watch a D&D game.
....all that said....I think...I think I'm in the Essek fandom right now? I don't want to say Mighty Nein fandom, that's a bit too far, I only know the names of TWO CHARACTERS but OH BOY I've already read fic, read essays, scrolled through a lot of tumblr, looked at so much fanart you guys, so much fanart you don't even know, and I'm like six hours into a Shadowghast Supercut on youtube.
I blame my CC beta, who will probably never read this (S, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE),batyatoon for telling me to listen to Critical Role often enough that a piece of my brain desperately wants to please her, and also Matthew Mercer for making a character that hit all of my buttons HOW DARE YOU SIR.
I cannot believe I have to make a new fandom tag for this post.
ETA: I feel the need to clarify that just because I'm watching a supercut on youtube of specifically parts I am interested in doesn't mean I'm not drifting in and out of listening. Because otherwise there is no way I could have gotten this far. (I have had to rewind bits when everyone gasps and I'm like OH WAIT WAS THATSHIPPY ANGSTY IMPORTANT?)
