AMC movie theaters are having this special re-re-??-release of the Extended Editions of the Lord of the Rings films, one every Tuesday.

So guess what I did yesterday?

To be fair, I missed Fellowship of the Ring (was still jetlag crashing) but The Two Towers was fantastic. HOW DID I FORGET HOW AWESOME THOSE FILMS ARE?

I might start wandering through that fandom again. I'm definitely going to have to dig up my Silmarillion and Lost Tales for the Hobbit film anyway.

(Also, I saw it with friends and we had the BEST TIME laughing to each other about things. "They're taking the hobbits to Isengaurd!" *dance in our seats and laugh*)
