TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS THE VICTORIAN STEAMPUNK WAREHOUSE 13 SPIN-OFF TO HAPPEN.

Two seconds of googling got me the email address to the Syfy programming department.

feedback@syfy.com

It is to be used "If you have suggestions or comments for our Programming Department about Syfy or any of its shows" and you know what? I DO.

I was considering doing it before, but [personal profile] aviv_b_artwork mentioned on [personal profile] xtricks's post that this would be a good idea, and I realized that a few minutes of my time would be totally worth this show happening.

So, guys, wanna help? I would just send a quick email to them, with the basic idea that you enjoyed the section of the show, heard there was an opportunity for a spin-off, and would like to voice your support. Be SURE to mention that you enjoyed Gareth David-Lloyd's performance and his rapport with Jaime Murray, if you enjoyed it, because there is always the possibility that they could make a spin-off without him.

I even watched the latest episode of Warehouse 13, and while it still hasn't grabbed with the same iron grip of Torchwood, I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the B-plot and the Eureka references were actually pretty fun, even though I haven't watched the show. I want more Jinks screentime.

ETA: Email has been sent! I wonder if they have a snail mail address I can send to now...
eldabe: Image of canal in Venice (Korra and Brave: My 2012 Animations)
I have a new icon! As I only have six (on Livejournal), and I have no plans to ever have more, I tend to make icons I like and stick with them for a while. But Buzz had limited applications, so here's to my new animated fandom icon. (My Dreamwidth icons haven't been organized yet, so this is mostly about my Livejournal ones)

All of the images are from the promotional materials for the upcoming TV show The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra and Brave, the upcoming Pixar film. I wanted to find a third animated something to put in there, but apparently these are the only two animated projects coming out in 2012 starring women. So instead you get my first attempt at a gif ever. I decided to not even bother with words.

I haven't had an HP icon in years, but I would like one for Pottermore posts. And I kinda want my Torchwood one to have, y'know, my favorite character (Ianto) in it. And I want a Stephanie Brown icon for comics posts, but I plan to never sacrifice my Nightwing icon (the first I ever made) and I like having Tim as a generic geeky icon when necessary.

I like having a fannish-neutral default icon, but I'm digging around my travel photos to find something to replace the canal in Venice. Castle in Scotland? Or Wales, maybe? Hmmm.

Anyway, for posterity, here's the icon: Photobucket

ALSO I HAVE JUST FOUND OUT THAT APPARENTLY GEORGE PEREZ HAS DRAWN THE BADGE FOR DRAGON*CON THIS YEAR. I WILL FRAME IT THE SECOND I GET HOME. I MIGHT ASK HIM TO SIGN IT BEFORE I INFORM HIM THAT HE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE COMIC BOOK ARTISTS EVER AND THE NEW TEEN TITANS WAS MY FIRST FAVORITE COMIC. I'M GOING TO GO OVER THERE AN FLAIL FOR A LITTLE BIT.
