JUST as I discover my inner desire for Royal Family Torchwood fic! Great timing, right?

In other news, I was at the wedding, or rather on the Mall, pretty close to Buckingham Palace. I was there from about 8:30 in the morning, and stayed until after balcony-waving, although I managed to somehow miss the kisses. I listened to nearly the entire thing on BBC radio, because for most of it there wasn't much happening by me. I have flag and a crown and a few very blurry pictures, because when I had to choose between seeing and taking pictures, I normally chose to see.

SO I SAW EVERYONE. THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE. PRINCE HARRY. THE QUEEN AND PRINCE PHILIP. PRINCE CHARLES AND CAMILLA. A BUNCH OF PEOPLE IN HATS.

I also watched the latest Who episode with my Britain roomie.

YOU BARELY ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS, MOFFAT. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

THERE WAS ALSO A LOT OF SHRIEKING. MOSTLY ME.

She thought the little girl might be Jenny. Or Amy's baby! IT HAS A TIME FACE BODY! And then my roomie was like "Did Amy sleep with the Doctor?" And I was thinking "I WILL NOT MENTION THREESOME FANFICS." They're not my canon anyway.

I kinda have to cover my ears at the mentions of the Doctor and River having their relationship backwards. Partly because that makes no sense. If so, than by the time the Doctor sees River in the first episode of the season, they would have finished all of their adventures together, on his end. He would have already me her as a child, already have romanced her and everything. Which would mean their entire relationship was 11, with a tiny bit of 10. Comparing diaries would have been pointless - the only things missing would have been the library and the stone angels bit and the last episodes of the 5th season.

EXCEPT IT SEEMS THAT SOME OF THOSE ALREADY HAPPENED IN RIVER'S TIMELINE AS WELL. In fact, it pretty much seems to us the River is currently working linearly with the Doctor. She remembers Amy and Rory, and I'm going to have to look over everything she's been in, but they do reference the world exploding to her, and she doesn't bat an eye. Argh. All that said, they finally kissed yay!!!

I prefer that their relationship be REALLY timey-wimey. Not linear backwards, nothing so simple, but properly confusing and messed up and gloriously wonderful.

Oh, and good call fandom, on Canton Delaware being gay, and that being why his marriage attempt got him kicked out of the FBI. My Britain roomie doesn't always understand that my shrieking is fandom-related.

Also, the solution the Doctor found is simultaneously innovative genius and remarkably violent for the Doctor.

NOW ABOUT THAT GIRL IN THE SPACE SUIT. ANSWERS, PLEASE???

Oh, and ETA: Still not sure on the whole pregnancy thing. If the little girl is Amy's baby, I'm...not so okay with that sort of ending for her. I'm also not sure I'm down with the pregnancy to begin with. Tread with care, Moffat.
