Rain and Television!
Aug. 14th, 2011 21:12I'm rereading my meme comment-fics when I get replies in my inbox and CLEARLY I NEED A LIVE-IN BETA.
I just can't grammar myself on my own. *headdesk*
That said, after slogging through the mud at Ren Faire, when England beat France (and Scotland) in the joust at the end of the day, the sun came out. It even stayed out for half of the ride back! (The accents remained LOLarios)
I also met these two women selling garb who are going to be at D*Con, and they discussed cosplay and I nodded. I think cosplay is pretty awesome, but it's not how I tend to fandom. I'm more a meta-to-death and fic sort of fan. I do own a pair of steampunk goggles I want to dig up for con, and I have a pocket watch I bought a few years ago, but a $300 corset person I am not.
I am also, as I type, more than halfway through White Collar season 2. I've been caught up on the present season through Hulu already.
WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME MARK SHEPPARD WAS IN THE FIRST EPISODE? COME ON, PEOPLE.
This on top of my so-so relationship with Warehouse 13. (They had a Roselyn Franklin shout-out. I may have to watch from the beginning) and my continuing commitment to finish Stargate. All of them.
(And Star Trek. That too.)
Plus, now the Eureka is ending, I should get on that.
SO. MUCH. TELEVISION.
When September rolls around and all my regular shows start again, I may hit a crisis at some point. Good thing I've basically decided to never watch Supernatural. I can resist some internet temptation. Sometimes.
