More importantly, I think many important things were forgotten in the news-following of yesterday, and I feel the need to fix that.
*clears throat*
CAPTAIN VORPATRIL'S ALLIANCE HAS BEEN RELEASED.
I'm hoping at least one of you has read Lois McMaster Bujold's fantastic space adventure series, but if not, you should. If you have, this is the first book starring Ivan and the ONLY reason I didn't pre-order it a million years ago is that LMB is doing a promotional tour that is going to be within traveling distance the first time in forever and I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to buy the book at the bookstore if I want to get it signed.
Roommate pre-ordered it though, so I'll get to read it when she finishes. This seems like a solid plan if we can make our apartment into a Spoiler-Free Zone.
